Thorne's is a family business that has been running since December 2000.

We pride ourselves on being a well managed, environmentally friendly company, and we have the highest possible standards when it comes to the welfare of our birds.

We believe our site is an extremely pleasant place to come and walk around, see our chickens and ask questions. Children are welcome, and always enjoy their visits.

Why not try our new on-site cafe for a delicious snack or meal.  You can eat-in, or we have picnic tables outside for when the weather is better!

Our site is mostly wheelchair friendly, although to get to some chicken areas it is necessary to travel over (short) grass.

Please note, we welcome well-behaved dogs in the centre, but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times because of the livestock.
